The NBC 5 Today wants to thank everyone who donated to our annual Back-to-School Drive.
The donations will benefit the following organizations.
- YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago offers the Black and Latino Achievers program, which addresses the developmental needs of urban youth.
- Lawrence Hall Youth Services is one of the Chicago's oldest child welfare agencies. It specializes in care for children with severe challenges due to trauma, abuse and neglect.
- South Loop Elementary School is located 1212 S. Plymouth Ct. It's a diverse learning community of students, families and educational leaders.
