The Community Renewal Society, in its 130th year of fighting racism and poverty, will honor its outgoing Executive Director Rev. Calvin S. Morris, Ph.D., for his years of service to the organization. Founded in 1882, Community Renewal Society is an organization that empowers people to combat social injustice by providing tools such as objective investigative journalism, community activists, and congregations.
