Jogger Attacked by Pit Bulls

Chicago's 7th Ward Alderman, Sandi Jackson, is praising a local man, Stanley Lee, after coming to a 62-year-old jogger's rescue Monday morning. Joe Finley was jogging along Lake Michigan at Rainbow Beach Park around 6 a.m. when he was attacked by two pit bulls. Lee, hearing the screams, grabbed a baseball bat and raced to the scene. Lee proceeded to beat the dogs until police arrive on the scene, shooting when they tried to attack. Finley was taken to the Cook County Hospital Trauma Unity where he underwent surgery.
