Chicago White Sox Announce Make-Up Games Against Twins

The Chicago White Sox had three straight games postponed against the Minnesota Twins because of inclement weather in the Twin Cities, and the teams have announced when the games will be made up.

Friday’s game against the Twins has been rescheduled for June 5 as part of a traditional doubleheader, the Twins announced. The first game will start at 3:10 p.m., and the second game will take place immediately afterward.

The Saturday game will be made up on September 28 as part of a day/night doubleheader, with the first game starting at 1:10 p.m. and the second game will start at 7:10 p.m.

Finally, Sunday’s game will be made up on August 20, with first pitch scheduled for 6:10 p.m. at Target Field.

The three games are part of a wave of games that have been cancelled throughout the league as a result of bad weather. A staggering 24 games have already been postponed this season, including Monday’s Patriots Day game between the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox, and a divisional game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
