Toews Confident for Thursday Return

The sixth-seeded Blackhawks will be facing a Phoenix team that beat them in three of four meetings this season

Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews, who missed the final 22 games of the regular season with a concussion, says he is confident he will be able to play in Thursday's playoff opener against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Toews skated on a line with Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa during Monday's practice and also was on the power play. Toews has not played since Feb. 19 and he said no final decision on his status has been made.

The sixth-seeded Blackhawks will be facing a Phoenix team that beat them in three of four meetings this season.
