The Chicago Bears have made some serious changes on their defense this offseason, and they’ll be hoping to acquire new pieces as free agency opens.

Bears G.M. Ryan Pace will have some money to spend and a lot of holes to fill, and here are some of the players he could take a chance on in free agency.

    Nigel Bradham – Linebacker   Signed

Bradham has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal to return to the Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

    Morgan Burnett – Safety

The Bears have snagged players from the Packers in the recent past, with Josh Sitton serving as a prime example, and Burnett could give the team a veteran presence in a safety group dominated by youngsters like Adrian Amos and Eddie Jackson.

Burnett appeared in 12 games for the Packers last season, registering 68 tackles, three defended passes, and a forced fumble.

    Malcolm Butler – Cornerback  Signed

According to multiple reports, Butler has agreed to a five-year contract with the Tennessee Titans.

    Aaron Colvin – Cornerback Signed

According to Schefter, Colvin has agreed to a four-year pact with the Houston Texans.

    E.J. Gaines – Cornerback

The Houston Texans are interested in Gaines, who appeared in 11 games for the Buffalo Bills last season. He intercepted one pass and defended nine more, but more intriguingly, he forced three fumbles, a career high.

    Trumaine Johnson – Cornerback Signed

The New York Jets have been busy, and they've reportedly signed Johnson, according to multiple reports.

    Patrick Robinson – Cornerback

Robinson had a staggering 18 defended passes last season, and intercepted four passes in 16 games. He also registered just the second sack of his career, and he could be a great shutdown corner for a team in desperate need of help on the edges of its secondary.

Muhammad Wilkerson – Defensive End Signed

ESPN's Rob Demovsky is one of multiple reporters saying that Wilkerson will sign with the Green Bay Packers.

Avery Williamson – Inside Linebacker Signed

The Jets are even richer at the inside linebacker position, agreeing to a contract with Williamson according to multiple reports.
