The Chicago Bears may be borrowing a page from the Chicago Blackhawks and growing "playoff beards."
Numerous Bears are sporting face fur. But they say its a coincidence.
"No, I just got the stitches out" quarterback Jay Cutler said when asked.
Still there's a lot of hair growth on the burly Bears these days. Cutler, Robbie Gould, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Marcus Harrison, and Johnny Knox who could be mistaken for Duncan Keith's Paul Bunyan look last spring.
Hockey players are superstitious, so maybe the Bears are following suit by not acknowledging the follicle challenge.
After all they did try mohawks in training camp ... its not a stretch to suggest they lost their razors just before the post season too!
