The Bulls officially hired Billy Donovan as their next head coach Tuesday. Multiple members of the team have already voiced their approval.

Here's Zach LaVine and Ryan Arcidiacono responding to the news:

Let's not take too much away from quick-twitch social media reactions, but it's a good omen for a team that's last coach, Jim Boylen, had a tenure filled with questions about player relationships and development.

Those are two areas Artūras Karnišovas repeatedly stressed in describing his criteria for the team's next coach.

Donovan evidently owns solid player relationships from past stops too. Here's Bradley Beal, who Donovan coached at Florida for the 2011-12 season.

Beal's endorsement of Donovan dates back to when he was first reported as a candidate. Donovan's five seasons coaching the Oklahoma City Thunder to a .608 regular-season win percentage (and five playoff appearances) was preceded by a 19-year run at Florida that produced 467wins and two national championships.
