Where Blackhawks' Patrick Kane Ranks on NHL Network's ‘Top 20 Wings' List

Where Patrick Kane ranks on NHL Network's 'Top 20 Wings' list originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

On Sunday, the NHL Network released its list of the league's "Top 20 Wings" and Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane again received a prime ranking.

Kane, the lone Hawks forward on the list, came in at No. 5. The three-time Stanley Cup champ was behind Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin, who grabbed the No. 4 spot.

The 31-year-old cornerstone of the Hawks' golden age was No. 5 on the same list for its July edition.

Patrick had 84 points (33 goals, 51 assists) through 70 games for the 2019-20 regular season and added nine points (two goals, seven assists) in nine games in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Kane's former linemate in Chicago, Artemi Panarin — now with the New York Rangers — landed the top spot. Panarin was a Hart Trophy finalist this year. This hardware is awarded to the player most valuable to his team.
