See how Guaranteed Rate Field has changed for 2020 White Sox summer camp

With 44 White Sox players coming to Guaranteed Rate Field for Spring Training round two, head groundskeeper Roger Bossard needed to make some changes inside the stadium to fit everybody.

Bossard and the White Sox revealed some of those changes earlier this week.

Since 24 of the 44 players reporting for Spring Training are pitchers, many more mounds were needed to ensure everyone could get to work.

To fit pitchers wherever they could, Bossard built two mounds in foul territory on the third base side, and another one underneath the field in a batting cage. For the hitters, Bossard added two more batting cages beneath the stands.

"We want to make sure in that period of time each day, everybody gets whatever workload they've gotta do in," Bossard said. "It's been a change to say the least, but certainly interesting."
