Report: Watson officially requests trade from Texans originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
It’s official. According to Adam Schefter, Deshaun Watson has requested a trade from the Houston Texans.
Watson’s future has been widely speculated ever since it was reported that he was unhappy with the team. It’s likely upwards of 20 teams will be competing for Watson’s services since he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and the Bears very well could be one of those teams.

But the price tag to make a trade for Watson will not be for the faint of heart. It’s expected that Houston will demand multiple first-round picks, or a mix of first-round picks and starting-caliber players.
