While it's well known that the White Sox have had a presidential fan in Barack Obama, the Cubs can now claim one of their own with Bill Clinton.
The 42nd President donned a Cubs cap while participating in the Negro Leagues TipYourCap campaign that was making the rounds on social media.
I am proud to join the #TipYourCap2020 campaign in honor of the centennial of the Negro Leagues and the talented men and women who played in them from 1920 through 1960. The Negro Leagues made baseball better and America better. pic.twitter.com/ToG1xOOLRr

It may be surprising since President Clinton is from Arkansas, so one would imagine his allegiances would lie with the Braves, or another southeastern team.
But later in his video, President Clinton explained why he wore Cubbie blue.
President Clinton made a special note of "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks, because "this cap," he noted while pointing to his head, "is for Hillary too, when finally the Cubs won the championship."
Hillary grew up in Chicago and was raised a Cubs fan, donning Cubs caps throughout her political career, even in New York.
