Cubs lineup: Pederson in vs. lefty, Miller makes first start originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson will make his first start of spring training against a left-handed pitcher Saturday in a road game against the Brewers.
Pederson getting the chance to play every day this year and start against lefties has been the storyline since he joined the Cubs. Southpaw Brett Anderson, a former Cub, will take the bump for Milwaukee.

Saturday's lineup also includes Ian Happ, leading off and playing center field, David Bote at second base, Cameron Maybin at DH, Austin Romine at catcher and Ildemaro Vargas at shortstop.
Right-hander Shelby Miller will make his first start of spring for the North Siders. The 30-year-old pitched in relief Monday against the Padres, throwing one shutout inning with two hits, no walks and one strikeout.

Miller, a non-roster invitee, is competing for a spot on the pitching staff. The 30-year-old came up a starter but also has experience pitching in relief.
