How to Watch Bears Vs. Rams: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time

How to watch Bears vs. Rams: Live stream, TV channel, start time originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

A new era in Chicago is set to begin when the Bears kick off their 2021 NFL season with a Week 1 matchup in Los Angeles against the Rams.

The first Sunday Night Football matchup of the season will feature Andy Dalton’s debut in a Bears uniform. The days of Mitch Trubisky under center in Chicago are over, and Dalton is set to take his place in the national spotlight on Sunday. And the pressure is on -- while head coach Matt Nagy named Dalton the Week 1 starter, rookie QB Justin Fields will be on the sidelines to take over if needed.

The Bears signed Dalton in the offseason. After spending his entire career with the Cincinnati Bengals, Dalton played the 2020 season in Dallas with the Cowboys. The veteran QB saw action in 11 games last season, throwing for 2,170 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Chicago’s opponent also has a new signal-caller. In an offseason trade, the Rams acquired Matthew Stafford from the Lions in exchange for QB Jared Goff, two first-round picks and a third-rounder. This could be to the Bears’ advantage considering they are familiar with Stafford after facing him when he was in Detroit.

The Bears’ all-time record against the Rams is 54-38-3. The last time the two franchises faced off was in October of 2020, when Chicago lost 24-10. After going 8-8 in the 2020 season, a win on Sunday will be crucial for the Bears to set a more promising tone for this year.
