Cubs' Joc Pederson Hits Clutch Game-Tying Home Run Vs. Brewers

Pederson's first Cubs hit: clutch game-tying HR vs. Brewers originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Welcome to Chicago, Joc Pederson.

The new Cubs outfielder entered play Wednesday still looking for his first hit in the blue pinstripes and was 0-for-13 on the season entering the eighth inning.

Naturally, Pederson absolutely crushed a game-tying home run off Brewers reliever Devin Williams to tie the score at 1, causing the Wrigley Field crowd to erupt in jubilation.

That celebration, though.

Pederson's slow start this season followed an impressive spring, but Cubs fans are hoping Wednesday's long ball is the first of many by Pederson this year.
