Cubs second baseman Jason Kipnis shared some strong thoughts on Twitter Tuesday night regarding the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
“This debate has gone off the rails in record time...,” Kipnis tweeted. “good lord this is equally entertaining as it is embarrassing for this country..”
Kipnis shared his tweet shortly after the debate, which began at 8 p.m. CT, started.
Kipnis and the Cubs open postseason play on Wednesday at Wrigley Field against the Marlins.
