Cardinals making documentary on Dennis Green's Bears rant originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

When Dennis Green took the post game podium on Oct. 16, 2006, he probably didn’t expect to utter some of the most iconic phrases in coach press conference history. But after his Cardinals blew a 20-0 halftime lead and let the Bears off the hook on Monday Night Football, Green let loose.

Years later, you’ll still hear fans quoting the diatribe. Now, ahead of the Bears-Cardinals Week 13 game this year, the Cardinals are set to release a video taking fans behind the scenes of what happened in Arizona’s locker room before Green’s apoplectic presser.
The video will be a part of Arizona’s “Cardinals Folktales” series on YouTube, which explores some of the most important moments and figures in franchise history in around 15-minute episodes. Past episodes include the 1997 win against the Cowboys that inspired fans to tear down the goalposts for an impromptu parade, and Pat Tillman and his locker that the team has preserved in his memory.
The Dennis Green episode, titled “Thanks, Coach,” will premiere Wednesday at 8 p.m.
