Denzel Valentine wants Bears to address QB in a big way originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Bulls wing Denzel Valentine -- like many in Chicago -- wants to see the Bears address the quarterback position this offseason.
And his sights are set high:
Watson remains under contract with the Houston Texans for the next three seasons, but speculation of a trade request in his future is gaining traction. With Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky's play during the 2020 season uninspiring, Trubisky's contract now expiring and a win-now organizational mandate likely in effect, it's no surprise the Bears rank near the top of the favorites to pursue his services.
But for now, such rumors are just that: Rumors. The Texans superstar finding his way to the Windy City years after the Bears passed on him to trade up and draft Trubisky remains a long-shot.
If he somehow did, Chicago fans and athletes alike would rejoice.
