Blackhawks release 63-man training camp roster originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
The Blackhawks have officially released their training camp roster ahead of the 2021-22 season and it consists of 63 players: 38 forwards, 18 defensemen and seven goaltenders.

Jonathan Toews, most notably, is listed on the roster and is expected to participate. He's been training in Chicago for the last several months after missing the 2020-21 season with Chronic Immune Response Syndrome.
Eleven players are joining camp on a professional tryout agreement: Forwards D.J. Busdeker, Liam Folkes, Carson Gicewicz, Riley McKay, Dylan McLaughlin, Garrett Mitchell, Dmitri Osipov and Chris Wilkie; defenseman Ryan Stanton; and goaltenders Tom Aubrun and Cale Morris.
One player is joining on an amateur tryout: Forward Kale Howarth.
The first on-ice session kicks off on Thursday at Fifth Third Arena, which will be open to the public.
