Bears' Mitch Trubisky Joins Teammates Asking for Allen Robinson Extension

First came Cordarrelle Patterson. Then Tarik Cohen, Darnell Mooney, and Anthony Miller followed. Over the past week or so, close to half a dozen Bears players have come out and publicly lobbied for the Bears to sign star wide receiver Allen Robinson to a contract extension. It's been a whole thing. 

On Wednesday, quarterback Mitch Trubisky was the latest to throw his weight behind Robinson and nudge at the Bears to get a deal done. Speaking to media during his weekly press conference, here's what he had to say: 

Robinson addressed the situation on Wednesday, acknowledging that he expects to remain in Chicago through the rest of the season, and that "his heart and spirit" have never wavered from his goal of ending his career with the Bears.
