The Chicago White Sox game against the Baltimore Orioles was postponed Tuesday "due to inclement weather," the team announced.
The game will instead be played Wednesday as part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 3:10 p.m. The rescheduled contest will begin 30 minutes after the first game, according to the team.
Fans with tickets to Wednesdsay's game can attend both games with their ticket and parking pass. Tickets for Tuesday's game cannot be used for Wednesday's double header, however, unless they are exchanged at the box office. Fans can apply the value of Tuesday's tickets or parking coupons to "any future regular season White Sox home game," the team announced.
Rain moved into the Chicago area Tuesday afternoon. Widespread showers and storms were expected to move across the area before a warm front moves in Tuesday evening. That warm front keeps the shower and storm threat going, with some heavy rain possible across the area overnight. Read the full forecast here.
