One northern Illinois home is spreading Christmas cheer by flying the winter “W” for all to see and hear.
The Quesse Christmas Light Show in Spring Valley, which began last weekend, is the ultimate tribute to the Chicago Cubs, with an entire holiday display set to the song “Go Cubs Go,” among other tunes.
Each year Billy and Gracelyn Quesse put on a big holiday display, but this year the festivities featured double the amount of lights – with a lot of red, white and blue colors.
The show runs from 5-10 p.m. until New Year’s Day at 3 Hidden Grove Lane in Spring Valley, according to Billy Quesse.
“Our goal has always been to put smiles on people's faces and spread holiday cheer, and of course to make the neighborhood a much brighter (literally) place this Christmas month,” the Quesse family wrote on a Facebook page dedicated to their display. “Again, thank you so much - your enthusiasm puts smiles on our faces. We'll keep rocking every night until New Year's Day.”
