Free CTA, Uber Rides for Cubs and White Sox Fans at Crosstown Classic

The Chicago Transit Authority and Uber really want to take you out to (and home from) the ballgame Cubs and White Sox fans.

So much so that they're offering free rides for fans at this week's Crosstown Classic.

The Chicago Transit Authority will be giving away free rides at the Addison Red Line station during games at Wrigley Field and at the 35th Street Red Line station during games at Guaranteed Rate field this week.

The free rides will be available for three hours after each game at Wrigley and for two hours after each game at Guaranteed Rate.

The CTA is also offering additional service to and from both games.

At Wrigley, added bus service will be available on the no. 80 Irving Park and no. 152 Addison routes for about two hours before each game, and for one hour after.

Uber is also offering up free trips to get fans home safely.

Riders who use the code MLCROSSTOWN will get a free ride up to $10.

The Cubs take on the White Sox at home Monday and Tuesday. Then, the games shift to Guaranteed Rate Field Wednesday and Thursday.
