The Chicago Cubs are facing a 2-0 series deficit in the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and their predicament means that resale ticket prices are falling ahead of Game 3 on Tuesday night.
According to StubHub, fans can get into Wrigley Field for as little as $85 for the game at the Friendly Confines. To get a physical seat, fans will be able to shell out just a little more coin, with tickets in the upper deck going for as little as $115, according to the resale site.
On Vivid Seats, fans can get similar deals, as tickets to the upper deck can be had for as little as $105, below the face value number set by the team for season ticket holders.
Ticket prices have steadily fallen as the Cubs have failed to get their bats going against the Dodgers, registering just seven hits and three runs in their opening two losses at Dodger Stadium.
The Cubs have never won a playoff series after losing the first two games on the road, but they have won a series in which they’ve trailed by two games, as they beat the Cleveland Indians in last year’s World Series.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:01 p.m. on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
