Cubs Set Game 3 Lineup vs. Giants Monday

After two consecutive victories, the Chicago Cubs will be looking to close out their series against the San Francisco Giants on Monday night at AT&T Park.

The Cubs’ offense, which was largely held in check during Game 1 of the series, came to life in Game 2 as they got big contributions from Kyle Hendricks and Travis Wood en route to a second straight victory.

Now, with the opportunity to clinch a berth in the NLCS on Monday, here's how the Cubs will lineup against the Giants at AT&T Park:

1 Dexter Fowler - CF

2 Kris Bryant - 3B

3 Anthony Rizzo - 1B

4 Jorge Soler - LF

5 Ben Zobrist - RF

6 Addison Russell - SS

7 Javier Baez - 2B

8 Miguel Montero - C

9 Jake Arrieta - P

The big change for the Cubs is the addition of Jorge Soler, as he will slot into the lineup to provide a righty-bat against Madison Bumgarner. The Cubs have hit lefties hard this season, but Bumgarner has been in top form in postseason starts, and the team will need all the bats it can get.

Montero will also join the lineup, making him the third different catcher to start in a postseason game for the Cubs during the playoffs.
