Cubs Third-baseman Kris Bryant was ejected—reportedly for the first time ever—from Tuesday’s Crosstown Classic game against the White Sox.
Bryant was sent to the showers in the fourth inning after arguing with an umpire over the call of a strike following a foul ball off his knee.

Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell and Sox third baseman Matt Davidson all argued with the umpire, CSN Chicago reports.
Bryant has never been ejected from a big-league game before, CSN reports. He was however ejected in the minors during a 2014 game—also for arguing balls and strikes.
According to the Cubs Strike Zone Twitter account, however, Tuesday’s pitch was more than four inches inside.
