Cubs fans will finally be able to celebrate the victory they never thought they’d see: a World Series Championship.
A trailer for one of NBC's upcoming fall shows, Revolution, includes a scene with characters walking past Wrigley Field. The marquee reads: "2012 World Series Champions."
"Revolution" portrays life 15 years from now when all electricity fails, sending the world back into the dark ages. Parts of the show take place in Chicago, offering an overgrown, jungle-like view of some of the city’s most famous landmarks
"Iron Man," and "Iron Man 2," Director Jon Favreau, J.J. Abrams of "Lost" fame, and Eric Kripke, the mind behind "Supernatural," have created the action-adventure series, ensuring an action-packed mind-bender with plenty of twists.
Although the show’s plot line sounds disheartening, at least there will be a ray of hope for the Chicago Cubs.
"Revolution" is scheduled to air Mondays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
