Bulls guard C.J. Watson bore the brunt of the blame for the teams unceremonious exit from the NBA Playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers this season. During a critical moment in the game and with Chicago holding a slim lead, Watson made a key mistake late in Game 6 that ultimately cost the Bulls the game and sent them home for the summer.
But Watson reportedly would like to return to the Bulls next season. The four year veteran from the University of Tennessee has had meeting with Gar Forman and John Paxson about his future. With the team needing a point guard to run the show until Derrick Rose returns from his ACL injury, the Bulls could very well bring him back since they hold a $3.2 million dollar team option on him for next season.
