John Fox Sets New Record in Bears' Loss

The Chicago Bears fell to the San Francisco 49'ers on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field, and in the process head coach John Fox made some history that no coach wants to make.

Fox, who took over the Bears before the 2015 season, saw his record drop to 12-32 in his three campaigns as the head coach.

That record gives him a winning percentage of .272, which is .001 worse than Abe Gibron, who until Sunday the Bears' record for worst winning percentage by a head coach in franchise history.

The new record-holder still has time to bounce back, as he'll take on a winless Cleveland Browns squad in Week 16 and has divisional games left against the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings left on his schedule.

Even if Fox wins the remaining four games this season, he still is guaranteed to hve the worst winning percentage of any coach since Gibron's tenure in the 1970's, and the second-worst winning percentage of any coach in Bears history.
