Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is one of the flashiest players in all of baseball, and he added another incredible play to his personal highlight reel on Saturday afternoon.

Baez, on first base during the Cubs’ game against the Chicago White Sox, took off for second base, and was beaten by a wide margin by the throw from Sox catcher Welington Castillo. Unfortunately for Castillo and shortstop Tim Anderson, Baez wasn’t ready to give up without a fight:

Pulling off the swim move that he has perfected over the last few seasons, Baez moved his left arm out of the way and grabbed the bag with his right hand, sliding in safely for his fourth stolen base of the season.

The stolen base ended up turning into a critical move, as Willson Contreras drove Baez in with an RBI single to extend the Cubs’ lead in the second inning.
