Grizzly Bears and Teddy Bears: Bears vs. Vikings

The best and worst from the NFC North-clinching win over Minnesota:

Grizzly Bears -- the players who stormed the Viking ship and came away with the prize:

Devin Hester -- The Ridiculous One is now in the history books, as he broke the return touchdown record with a 64-yard punt return in the third quarter. That was far from his only contribution, as he had a total of 146 return yards and a touchdown catch.

Matt Forte -- With the bad weather, Forte was going to have to come through big. That's exactly what he did, gaining 92 yards on 14 carries. He didn't have any big, outstanding runs. Instead, he was the Bears workhorse, reliably gaining first downs for the Bears despite playing in freezing rain.

Israel Idonije -- In the hubbub of Corey Wootton's Favre-ending sack, it was easy to miss Idonije, but he was nothing short of outstanding. He had five tackles, and his sack and forced fumble in the third quarter is what set up Hester's history-making punt return.

Julius Peppers -- Basketball fans had to enjoy last night's game, as Peppers showed off skills learned on the hardwood. The first-quarter interception off of Henry Melton's tipped pass looked more like a rebound. Later in the game, Peppers tipped a pass with form that would have made Luol Deng proud. Peppers finished the game with five tackles, two deflected passes and an interception.

Teddy Bears -- the Bears who were pillaged by the Vikings. In such a convincing win, there were few who didn't pull their weight. Actually, just one:

Chester Taylor -- Playing against his former team, Taylor could not find a hole with a map and a compass. He ran for just five yards on 11 carries, and the offensive line can't be blamed when you look at the game that Forte had. Taylor's per carry average was 0.5, making it the fourth time this season he's averaged less than a yard.
