Gordon agrees to qualifying offer with Bulls

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Restricted free agent guard Ben Gordon accepted the one-year qualifying offer made by the Chicago Bulls.

The deal was announced Wednesday for Gordon, Chicago's leading scorer the past three years. He averaged 18.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 72 games last season. Gordon is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the upcoming campaign.

The third overall pick in the 2004 draft, Gordon has averaged 18.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 316 career games with the Bulls.
