Field Museum Dino Sports Giant Blackhawks Jersey

The Blackhawks had a tough week at the hand of the Detroit Red Wings. They suffered two losses. In Game 1, the Hawks really didn't play well. In Game 2, they played much better, but still lost in overtime after a careless turnover by defenseman Brian Campbell. Really, it couldn't have gone much worse.

But there is one area in which the Blackhawks are finally beating Detroit: in whimsical, statue-based displays of team spirit.

In Detroit, the Spirit of Detroit statue dons a Red Wings jersey every time the Wings make the Stanley Cup. The Blackhawks have done them one better -- they've outfitted a three-story-tall Brachiosaurus skeleton at the Field Museum with what has to be the biggest Blackhawks sweater this side of Dustin Byfuglien.

Jonathan Toews' No. 19 gets the honors in the photo. Seeing as Toews is one of the few Blackhawks having a good series thus far, perhaps the Field Museum can rotate jerseys every few hours. You know, just in case. It can't be that hard to fit a giant dinosaur with a uniform, can it?
