UFC 95: Josh Koscheck vs. Paulo Thiago in London, February 21 on Spike

I've heard from a lot of fans who think the February 21 UFC 95 card in London is one of the weakest cards the UFC has put together in recent years. This news should placate some of those fans.

Josh Koscheck is expected to fight a 10-0 UFC newcomer named Paulo Thiago at UFC 95, according to the Brazilian MMA site Tatame. Koscheck is one of the half dozen or so best welterweights in the world, and although he's not exactly a fan favorite, he's a well-known fighter, and it should be interesting to see him take on Thiago, a Brazilian jiu jitsu specialist.

The addition of Koscheck vs. Thiago to a fight card whose main event is Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Stevenson doesn't exactly make UFC 95 worthy of pay-per-view money. But the card is free on Spike, and at that price, UFC 95 is shaping up fairly nicely. I just wish American viewers could watch it live, instead of having to wait until Saturday night and watch it on tape delay.
