The Chicago Wolves will tangle with a familiar foe in the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs, as they will take on the Rockford IceHogs.
The IceHogs, affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks, will take on the Wolves in the playoffs for the first time since 2008. In that series, the Wolves beat the IceHogs and ultimately won the Calder Cup championship later that summer.
The Wolves captured the Central Division title this season, and will have home ice advantage in the series when it begins on April 21 at Allstate Arena.

Game 1 - April 21: Rockford at Chicago 7 p.m.
Game 2 - April 22: Chicago at Rockford 4 p.m.
Game 3 - April 26: Rockford at Chicago 7 p.m.

The winner of the series will take on either the Manitoba Moose or the Grand Rapids Griffins in the second round of the postseason.
