Valdimir Radmanovic, the 6 foot, 10 inch sharpshooter from Serbia has decided to call it a career. The 32-year-old’s retirement was announced by Serbian news outlet inSerbia.
"Vlad Rad" played for the Chicago Bulls last season and appeared in 25 games, finishing the 2012-13 campaign with averages of 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds.
The Bulls were the seventh team of Radmanovic’s career as he’s also suited up for the Seattle Supersonics, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Bobcats, Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks.
He found himself on the wrong side of the Lakers organization during the 2006-07 season when he injured his shoulder during All-Star Weekend in a snowboarding accident -- a contract violation -- in Utah. He initially told the team he separated his shoulder when he slipped on a patch of ice. He was fined $500,000.
Radmanovic was second team All-rookie in 2002 and finishes his career with averages of 8.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 42 percent from the field, 38 percent from behind the three-point line and 76 percent from the free-throw line.
