Nate Robinson Says Blocking LeBron's Shot His Favorite NBA Moment

The former Chicago Bulls guard took fan questions on his Twitter account

Nate Robinson has been in the NBA for eight years and in that time, he has made a name for himself as one of the best little men to ever play in the league. Robinson has had a number of big moments in his career, including being the only player to ever win the slam dunk contest three times, scoring 41 points in 38 minutes off the bench for the New York Knicks after being benched by then coach Mike D’Antoni and seeing zero playing time for a month.

And of course, who can forget his memorable moments with the Bulls including setting a franchise record for most three-pointers made in a season (178) and his incredible performance in Game 4 of last year’s playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets where he scored 34 points off the bench (20 in the 4th quarter) and helped the Bulls take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

But in spite of his incredible career accomplishments, only one stands out most to the 5-9 dynamo. Taking fan questions from his Twitter account, Robinson was asked what his most memorable NBA moment was.

His answer was probably similar to Bulls fans’ favorite Nate Robinson memory. “Blocking @KingJames #holdat,” was Robinson’s reply to the question.

Who could forget Game 3 at the United Center in Chicago’s second round playoff series against the Miami Heat when James, on a fast break, side-stepped Marco Belinelli and on his layup attempt, had it swatted (cleanly) by Robinson. The play elicited a standing ovation by Bulls fans.

He also said that of all the teams he’s played for, the Bulls were his favorite and that it was hard for him to leave Chicago. Robinson also said that Michael Jordan’s jersey was his all-time favorite.
