The Chicago Blackhawks will kick off their preseason schedule on Sept. 19 when they battle the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the game will be one of six tilts that will be televised in the Chicago area.
In fact, the Blackhawks’ entire preseason schedule will be televised, as the team looks to bounce back after back-to-back early playoff exits in each of the last two years. The Blackhawks will play three games at the United Center and three away from home, taking on the Blue Jackets, Red Wings, and Bruins as they prepare for the season.

The Blackhawks will open the regular season on Oct. 5 when they welcome the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins to the United Center.
