After a career that spanned 13 seasons and saw him make it to eight Pro Bowls, former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend.

Urlacher, who spent his entire career with the Bears, has been in Canton all week soaking up the Hall of Fame spotlight, including Thursday night’s Hall of Fame Game that saw his team lose 17-16 to the Baltimore Ravens.

During the game, Urlacher spoke to media on the sidelines, giving a shoutout to Bears fans.

“Our fans in Chicago are phenomenal,” he said. “Fans showed up in the cold, it didn’t matter. It didn’t matter if we were good or bad – they showed up either way. They know when to cheer and when to be quiet. They were fun to play in front of.”

Urlacher will receive his gold jacket during a ceremony on Friday night, and will be formally enshrined during Saturday’s ceremony. He will receive his Hall of Fame bust in Canton, and he answered a critical question before the big moment.

“There will be no hair on the bust,” he said. “It’s going to be bald. No worries there, fans.”
