Video: David Ross Campaigns for Cubs in All-Star Voting

David Ross is arguably the most popular player in the Chicago Cubs’ clubhouse, and the catcher is trying to do his part to help vote his team into the MLB All-Star Game.

Unfortunately, technology seems to have gotten the best of the player that holds the nickname “Grandpa” among his much younger teammates.

In the new video, Ross is attempting to vote for his teammates using a rotary phone, which doesn’t quite seem like it will work.

Fortunately for Cubs fans, Ross’ inability to figure out technology hasn’t hampered their chances of seeing plenty of Chicago players in the game in San Diego this July. Ben Zobrist, Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, Kris Bryant, and Dexter Fowler are all in line to start in the game, according to new voting data released on Wednesday.
