The LaCosse family were shown on the jumbotron during the break of the third inning in part to honor military service members.
As the mother and children waved to the in-house camera, U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Daniel LaCosse snuck up behind his family and immediately gave his young daughter a kiss on the cheek. The fans at Guaranteed Rate Field erupted in cheers.
LaCosse's son was speechless when he saw his father, and the boy clutched onto LaCosse for a long embrace.
