Melky Cabrera Fools Announcers, Aaron Judge After Great Catch

On 27 occasions this season, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has clubbed home runs, and it looked like he nailed his 28th against the Chicago White Sox Thursday night.

Outfielder Mekly Cabrera had other ideas, however.

Ranging back to the wall, Cabrera leaped up and made the catch to rob Judge of the home run. Instead of celebrating, Cabrera played it extremely cool, fooling everyone, including the announcers, into thinking that the ball had cleared the wall:

It wasn't until Judge approached second base that Cabrera revealed that he had caught the ball, prompting a mea culpa from Yankees announcer Michael Kay and a salute from White Sox pitcher James Shields.

Behind the amazing catch by Cabrera, the White Sox beat the Yankees after a nearly three-hour rain delay.
