In an epic “Throwback Thursday” post this week, Baez showed off his old look before he was a Chicago baseball star, and you have to see it to believe it:
Baez has been one of the Cubs’ most consistent performers this season, with five home runs and 16 RBI to his credit. He is only batting .235, but his on-base percentage is over 100 points higher than that, and his 1.006 OPS is best on the team.
Baez and the Cubs will take on the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday afternoon. First pitch at Wrigley is scheduled for 1:20 p.m.
