Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez has earned himself quite a few nicknames during his time in the Windy City, but now he’s adding another title to his resume.
On Tuesday, Baez announced on Instagram that his girlfriend Irmarie Marquez is pregnant with the couple’s first child:
The Puerto Rican star, who clubbed 23 home runs and drove in 75 RBI for the Cubs last season, did not reveal whether the baby would be a boy or girl, but did ask fans for their predictions on the gender of the baby.
