Cubs World Series Cake on Display at City Hall

The Cubs' World Series win just got even sweeter.

After the team finally walked away with their historic World Series win last week, the French Pastry School has baked and designed a Chicago Cubs-themed cake in honor of the team's victory.

The cake was created by the French Pastry School's certified master sugar artist, Chef Sunny Lee, and intern Eunli Cho -- a graduate of the school's 16 week cake decorating program.

It took the duo about 200 hours to create the 5-foot cake, which includes 45 pounds of sugar, 25 pounds of chocolate and 10 pounds of Rice Krispies.

The French Pastry School says that the work done by Lee and Cho is a celebration of its commitment to providing skill development opportunities and an entrpreneurial vision to its students.

The cake will be on display at the Chicago City Council Chambers Nov. 9.
