On Monday afternoon, Charlotte Hornets forward Frank Kaminsky donned a Steve Bartman Chicago Cubs jersey as the White Sox fan made it clear that he isn’t rooting for the North Siders to get back to the World Series for the first time in 71 years.
Not content to let this slight go unpunished, the Cubs’ Twitter team proceeded to pepper Kaminsky with .GIFs on the social media website, and needless to say, the team got pretty creative when it came to trading jabs with the former Wisconsin standout:
The initial salvo fired by Kaminsky was an interesting one and certainly drew plenty of attention, but we’re going to give the win to the Cubs in this battle.
