Tickets to this year’s Cubs Convention sold out "within minutes," a spokeswoman said Friday.
The weekend passes were available to the public for purchase at noon. A presale for Mastercard users began two hours earlier at 10 a.m.
Prior to the sale, all of the convention's hotel packages had already been sold out following the team's historic World Series win.
Each 3-day pass was $108 plus convenience fees. Fans were limited to four passes per household.
The 32d annual convention will be held at the Sheraton Grand Chicago from Jan. 13 to 15.
