Christkindlmarket Opening Third Location at Park at Wrigley

The Park at Wrigley hosts its inaugural Winterland in the Park event this year from Nov. 24 until Dec. 31

Baseball season is over, but Wrigleyville won't shut down for the holidays.

The Park at Wrigley will host its inaugural Winterland in the Park event this year from Nov. 24 until Dec. 31, offering a variety of seasonal entertainment to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

The event will include an ice skating rink, a third location of the popular Christkindlmarket, and different holiday activities such as wreath-making and a visit from Santa Claus.

"The Christkindlmarket at the Park will feature its signature mugs, Glühwein, apple cider, hot chocolate, baked cheeses, roasted nuts, toffee, pastries and more," a Park rep said in a statement. "Guests also can find holiday gifts."

The Park at Wrigley also will hold a tree lighting ceremony featuring a massive 28-foot Christmas tree and a menorah to welcome the holiday season on Nov. 28.

Specific dates, times and prices can be found on Park at Wrigley's event page.
