The Chicago White Sox haven’t been doing a lot of winning on the field this season, but there is one area where they are absolutely dominating: fan experience.
That is according to a new study released by J.D. Power and Associates, who ranked the fan experience in numerous major markets across the United States.
The White Sox were the top dogs in Chicago, beating out five other professional sports teams in the Windy City for the coveted top spot:
The White Sox rank among the best in terms of Overall Satisfaction, Ticketing, Arriving at the Game, and Food and Beverage, according to the study. They were the only team to achieve that rating in five areas, with the Chicago Fire hitting the mark in three areas, according to the study.
The Fire ended up finishing second in the ranking, followed by the Blackhawks and Bulls.
The Chicago Cubs got good marks in Security, but they were listed as average or below average in every other area of the study.
Chicago Baseball
The Chicago Bears finished in dead last in the rankings, as they only achieved an average rating in one area: ticketing. They were listed among “the rest” in the other six areas that the study ranked, including Game Experience and Leaving the Game.
