The Chicago White Sox game against the Minnesota Twins has been delayed as severe weather has moved into the Chicago area. 

The game waas stopped in the sixth inning with the White Sox leading the Twins 2-0. Fans were encouraged to evacuate the seating area as heavy rain and lightning approached the ballpark. 

The team has announced that the game will restart at 5:25 p.m.
